Alley Crawl Photos January 2012

A cold January afternoon in downtown Vancouver. Prowling through the back alleys of the Gastown area. Waiting for the right light, waiting for people and cars to move. Looking for the right scene, the right texture and color. Cold hands. Warm images in the view finder.
After all the cold back alleys, a late lunch/early dinner at Brioche, on Cordova and Homer. Very yummy!, although I did have to choose carefully so as not to blow the budget. I mean if I'm going to pay 16 bucks for fish soup...I'm gonna want the fish to do back flips and maybe tell a fish joke or two. As it was...the panini  sampler was the perfect deal.
