This is from a trip from Vancouver to New York to Reykjavik...and I got to photograph the marathon race while there in Iceland.
First off is a video that is a bit odd, because it hasn't got a stitch of narration. So just pretend that a low rent mime student took the video.
The word "Iceland" conjures up images of barren wasteland and reindeer. While the island does provide quite a bit of that....the city and surrounding area are very sophisticated and cosmopolitan...Plus...they know how to have an economic meltdown...and throw up the middle finger to the world banking powers at the same time.
